Free Spring Printable – Ecclesiastes 3:1
UPDATED – March 20, 2020
In this season of uncertainty, I wanted to re-publish some of my free printables to offer hope, joy, and a little bit of happiness in these scary times. I’m going to be making more this week, as making and sharing art really soothes my soul.
I won’t deny that my anxiety has really popped back up this week. I’ve battled depression and anxiety on and off for years, and this virus and the nationwide “social distancing” has me scared, nervous, lonely, etc…
BUT…
I know that God is in control. I know that He loves us. I know that He does not give us a spirit of fear. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ~ Isaiah 41:10
The sun will come out tomorrow.
I’m giving all my uncertainties, worry, and anxiety over to Him. I’m trying to use this time to reconnect with God, to reconnect with my family. We’ve become a nation of busy-ness. We’re all running here and there, trying to keep up…trying to get ahead of everyone else.
Maybe God wants us to just push pause.
to be still and know, to cease striving.
“Cease striving and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the b]nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” – Psalm 46:10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
So my prayer for all of us, is that we turn our eyes and hearts back to Him. I pray that our country and world will remember and cling to His hope and love during this time. That we’ll be a little bit kinder than necessary, to our own families, to our neighbors, to our communities.
I’m especially praying for everyone on the front lines – the drs, nurses, hospital workers, researchers, scientists, government officials…grocery workers, truck drivers, everyone working so hard to keep things as normal as possible.
May God comfort us all with His peace and understanding and bring us through this to a new day.
Stay safe & keep the faith!
Hello friends! I’m back today to share a free spring printable to brighten up your day. I’m sure many of you have heard of the passing of Billy Graham this week. What an amazing man and servant to the Lord! Some of us are called to go out in the world, bearing the spotlight of fame to bring people to Jesus. And while I think of all Billy Graham did and how larger than life he was, I am left feeling somewhat less-than. What can this small town, introvert, stay-at-home mama do to spread joy and remind others of Jesus’ sacrifice and love? While the thought of speaking in front of a huge crowd gives me heart palpitations, that doesn’t mean I can’t still share my faith in my own way.
And so can you!
You don’t need to be preaching to crowds of thousands to make a difference. Whatever God has called you to do… do that. It could be as simple as making healthy meals for your children, volunteering at church, showing kindness to a stranger, or making free scripture printables for your blog 🙂
So I’m sharing this free spring printable featuring a Bible verse from Ecclesiastes 3:1 that spoke to me recently:
1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance
It is my wish that you will hang this spring printable in your home and be reminded of God’s undying love for you. If you’re going through a difficult time, just remember – He has a plan for your life and you will go through different seasons. But there is a purpose and a reason, we just don’t always know what that is because His ways are not our ways and His timing is not our own. But He loves us and will never forsake us – even in the dark days. I find so much comfort in that!
