Farmhouse Coffee Table from Amazon

I hope you all are having a great week! It’s cold and rainy here in good ol’ Illinois 🙁 which leaves me tired and unmotivated. bleh. But I was able to snap a few pics yesterday that I wanted to share. I finally ordered our new farmhouse coffee table from Amazon. I wanted a reclaimed wood piece to add a bit of texture to our space. 

I fell in love with this one from McGee and Co:

Isn’t it gorgeous? But my practical side won out (darn it!) and I just couldn’t justify spending that kind of money on a coffee table.

So I scoured the interwebs and found this one from Amazon. It had the reclaimed wood top that I was wanting, and a trestle like base to add a coastal/beachy vibe. But the best part was the price – $399. 

SOLD. 

It took my hubby about 45 minutes to assemble. He said some of the holes didn’t line up very well, but for the price and look I am super happy with this farmhouse coffee table! The reclaimed wood top is VERY sturdy – solid wood. 

Note: since it’s reclaimed wood, it is not a smooth surface. So if you’re looking for something totally smooth, this might not be for you. It does have a few jagged edges which I plan on hitting with our sander eventually. But for now, I’m loving the updated beachy look it’s bringing to our space! 

It’s also fairly large at 55.1”W x 31.5”D x 16.1”H which is great since we got our new sectional – I was needing something big to fill the space.
