I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! It’s been a little hard for me to get back in the swing of things since school started, but I thought I’d share with you some of my favorite flush mount lighting ideas. Flush mounts (and semi-flush mounts) have come suuuuch a long way in the last few years! I like to think that Joanna has helped in this endeavor by placing such a huge emphasis on lighting choices. Her design plans always feature show stopping light fixtures. So lighting designers and manufacturers are finally stepping up and giving us more options than just those boring boob lights so popular in the last few decades.
What are boob lights?
yeah, see that little nipple thing hanging down? We don’t want that. I know, we’ve all had them at one time or another. They seem to be favorites of landlords and builders because they’re super cheap. But as I’m always asking my hubby – “can’t we have something affordable AND good looking??”
Well, as it turns out – YES! Thank goodness!
You’d be surprised how just changing out a few out dated light fixtures can drastically improve the overall look of your space. Which one was your favorite? Let me know in the comments! I am loving all the cute flush mount lighting choices from PB kids – especially this Dahlia Flushmount. I’m trying to talk Craig into letting me replace our ugly can lights in the walkway near the stairs with these. Wish me luck! 🙂
