Today please welcome another one of our new contributors, Lauren, from Gather & Flourish. She is a talented blogger and graphic designer and has designed the perfect patriotic free printable for us!
It’s time to start pulling out that patriotic decor! The Fourth of July is such a fun holiday to celebrate! I will take any excuse to be festive! I like to keep my decor simple so that it’s easy to change out for the holidays. For Independence Day, I like to sprinkle some flags around my home and change out some of my frames with patriotic free printables (like the Home of the Brave free printable I’m sharing today)!
This year will be our 241st Independence Day! Each year it is such a great reminder of just how blessed we are in this country. We aren’t perfect, but we have numerous things to be thankful for! I am especially grateful to be living in a country where we are free to worship our creator without fear of persecution, imprisonment, or death. Many believers do not have that privilege and it is one I take for granted often.
This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave. -Elmer Davis
I cannot share this “Home of the Brave” printable without taking a moment to honor the brave men and women who serve our country. This is also something I do not dwell on enough, the sacrifice of others for my comfort and security. Not only theirs, but their families also who sacrifice time with their loved ones. This Fourth of July I will continue to reflect on this with gratefulness for our troops and the religious freedom we have here in this country that I call home.
