Flip House: Hall Bath Updates

Happy Friday everyone! I’m back with another update on our flip house (affectionately known as Mouse House – due to the enormous amount of critters in the house since it was vacant for several years.) Mouse House has 2 bathrooms (a hall bath & master bath.) Today I’m sharing the hall bath updates.

And here’s where we are today:

Love these new tile floors in the hall bath at the Flip House, and they're only $2.86/sq ft! Find out where to buy them on the blog! | theharperhouse.com
new window, & tile floors!

We still need to grout, but I am LOVING these new floors.  I was originally wanting to do a herringbone tile pattern in here, but my poor hubby has soooo many projects going on and I knew those would take forever to do. So I found these porcelain 6×12 tiles at Lowes and they still give a unique vibe to the floor, but were MUCH easier & quicker to install! And another plus – they were only $2.86/sqft! win-win! You can find these exact tiles HERE.

I just ordered this vanity and it should be delivered in two weeks:

I think I will change out the hardware on it, but I’m waiting to see what it looks like in person. I’m also hoping to figure out lighting for the bathroom this week (along with lighting and vanity for the master, finalizing the kitchen design – including custom stove hood, figuring out crown molding on the shiplap, ordering more light fixtures, and designing the new fireplace surround. wow – I need a nap just thinking about all that! And I’m not even the one doing all the manual labor – my poor hubby is going to need a major vacation after this house is finally done!

Thanks for following along – I’ll be back next week with updates on the master bath.

Have a great weekend!
